Mrs. Shari Terry, Founder (Retired) Founder, Retired, Grant Writer and Experience in EAGALA, ARIA, EAT, CHA,
Certified Instructor. Masters in Psychology started at Tunxis Community College graduated final year U Conn.
Shari is the founder
of our organization serving currently to our Board of Directors, as a loyal volunteer. Although Shari has retired she
plays a significant role as Program Director. Shari worked as a Mental Health Counselor through the State of CT from
1989 to 1993. In 1994 Shari was in a severe, near-fatal auto accident that left her disabled and suffering from Traumatic
Brain Injury, Horner's Syndrome and PTSD along with many broken bones. She was placed in a convalescent home for some time,
but through the use of the horse, Shari began her journey and slow recovery. Her need and dream of helping others through Equine Assisted Therapy
(EAT) has come full circle. Shari used her passionate love of horses to create programs in 1998 for her healing journey and
for others to eventually use. She has written several programs for safety such as our WRF Safety Program, CIT program, Healing
With Horses Therapeutic Riding Certification Programs and Facilitated Safety Programs for Farm Maintenance and Management
using basic ideas such as rotating fields and pasture maintenance. Ms.Rosati is a member of the Therapeutic Riding Instructor's Association with Barbara
Fox. Shari has held memberships of The CT Farm Bureau, CT Horse Council and is a Member of the Lion's Club. Shari's
goal is to protect the well-being and safety of all participants and care for the horses, our four legged therapists that
help guide them through life.
Mr. Lee A.Terry (President) President Board of Directors, Co-Founder, BS, Certified
Instructor, Lead Trainer, CIT, CHA, Grant Writer, Auditor Lee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He has taught English overseas
in Japan through ESL. He has a passion for horses and teaching which was adapted
and applied to Therapeutic Riding. Lee was a member of the CT Horse Council and CT Farm Bureau. Lee holds his Level4 Certified
Horseman's Association Certificate. Mr.Terry is from Texas and is the Co-Founder
of Healing With Horses. Lee Terry holds certifications through,
EAGALA, ARIA, EAT, HWH, TIC and is a member of the Lions Club.He also holds his First Aid Certification,CPR certification
and has been trained using Automated External Defibrillator. Lee Terry studied vital work on bloodborne pathogens
through his military experience as a United States Marine. Lee offers dynamic
leadership skills and horse training. Lee has facilitated many riding programs
in Texas and was influential in the creation of many Safety Programs here in Connecticut. Lee is not only our President he is
responsible for the facility and grounds. He has invested much of his time in over seeing the
facility and has plans to open a much needed facility in Northern Texas in the
future. Lee has overseen our Therapeutic Riding programs since the beginning. Healing
With Horses continues to create unparalleled training programs facilitated in EAAT at Healing With
Horses. He teaches Equine body language and bonding.
Olga
Reiss Board Member Certified Instructor
As a Board
Member and Instructor here at Healing With Horses, Inc. Olga will add new ideas to our current programs. Olga began riding here at age 7 which gives her
the experience and background knowledge of the equine. As an equestrian she has a great passion for caring for horses.
Olga was taught the equine art of body language and communication which gives her the ability to understand the bond
between the horse/human relationship. This is a huge asset to our facility. Olga holds a dispatch job which adds to her capability
of working with a large variety of clients. Olga continues to work hard taking classes to add to her many attributes.
Olga is HWH Certified here at our farm and
wears many hats to help our facility run smoothly as it has in the past. She brings dedication, hard work and horse knowledge to our farm as a volunteer and we are very happy to have
her on our board.
Kathy Taylor
Olbrys Treasurer
of Board Member, Director of Marketing, EAT Kathy Taylor Olbrys is a mother, wife to husband John for over 22 years and a resident of Waterford, CT. She is a
Waterford High graduate and a graduate of Albert Beatrice School of Beauty. Kathy has been involved with the American Cancer
Society and Relay for Life for ten years and is Team Captain. She has worked numerous benefits in the region over the years. Kathy is a very dedicated volunteer and an asset to our community. Kathy's
daughter, Haley, has been volunteering here at Healing With Horses for more than four years. Both Kathy and Haley go above
and beyond to help us with our Mission. She has donated
her time, food and been a part of every benefit we have had since learning about our programs. Kathy spends her time enjoying
local live bands and watching her daughter play volleyball. Her daughter is has completed college. Thank you Kathy for
being a part of Healing With Horses and giving so much of yourself. You have been a loyal friend and supporter of Healing
With Horses.

Dr. Denise Sneed Williams, PHD
Dr. Denise Williams has an extensive equestrian background and holds positions in
EAAT, Trainer and is a Certified horse Instructor. Denise also holds a Masters Degree in teaching and opened her own school
of Education in Norwich CT. Dr. Williams also took Dressage Championship in 2011 in the Tri State Area. She holds
teaching degrees in the states of Florida and Connecticut. She was President of the Lions Club of Norwich CT for 2 years.
She held Presidency of the Tri State Horsemans Association. Her extensive equine background is yond outstanding and is currently
a horse owner herself. She brings to us equisite equestrian knowledge, training and passion of working with horses and
assisting in creating our Equine Programs for Healing With Horses, Inc. She's held a title of Program Director
for many years since the 1970s. Dr. Denise Williams is held in high regard for the health, safety and well being of our clients,
horses, volunteers and board members.
